Welcome to the Allen Baptist Association Website

The Allen Baptist Association has been serving our community for over 150 years. The association was organized to unite churches in Allen County and pool their resources to work for the Lord. We believe that together we can accomplish more than one church can do alone. Through the Allen Baptist Association, churches in Allen County have helped spread God's word across the county, the state, the nation, and even the world.

The purpose of the Allen Baptist Association is "to promote missions and engage in mission endeavors at home and abroad as we are led of the Lord" and "to promote good fellowship among our churches; and to assist, provide training for, and under gird one another wherever possible".

The Allen Baptist Association welcomes you to our fellowship!

The Quarterly Associational Meeting will be held at the Halifax Picnic Shelter (located next to the Halifax Community Center) on July 25.  For more information, see the event listing on the calendar, or contact Fred Spears.

Bays Fork will be taking a Mission Trip on July 24-30 to The Haven of Rest Ministries in Eastern KY (near Inez, KY).  During the trip, they will be doing yard work, minor repairs and painting at the Haven of Rest, as well as conducting a VBS at the West Van Lear church nearby. If you would like to donate materials, or if you would like more information, contact Mila Sledge.  Of course, pray for a successful and safe trip for the mission team.

Do you have a revival planned?  Let us know so we can add it to our site!

Daily Bible Verse

DM
  • Daily Manna from the 'Net for Sunday, August 1, 2010 [Luke 12:13-21]
And one of the company said unto him, Master, speak to my brother, that he divide the inheritance with me. And he said unto him, Man, who made me a judge or a divider over you? And he said unto them, Take heed, and beware of covetousness: for a man's life consisteth not in the abundance of the things which he possesseth. And he spake a parable unto them, saying, The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully: And he thought within himself, saying, What shall I do, because I have no room where to bestow my fruits? And he said, This will I do: I will pull down my barns, and build greater; and there will I bestow all my fruits and my goods. And I will say to my soul, Soul, thou hast much goods laid up for many years; take thine ease, eat, drink, and be merry. But God said unto him, Thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided? So is he that layeth up treasure for himself, and is not rich toward God. Luke 12:13-21 KJV
